Owner and President of PIRS

Michelle Repman-Pifer, MA, CRC, NCC, LPC, CLCP, PGAP Provider

Michelle Repman-Pifer, MA, CRC, NCC, LPC, CLCP, PGAP Provider, is the President and Owner of Presque Isle Rehabilitation Service, LLC. Ms. Repman-Pifer has been working in the workers’ compensation, disability, and civil liabilities fields for over 27 years and founded Presque Isle Rehabilitation Service in 2002.

Through innovative thinking, integration of the latest technology, and collaborative teamwork with staff both in-office and in the field, she has created a highly regarded team that, together, ranks among the leading case management companies in the region.

In addition to running the business and overseeing operations, Ms. Repman-Pifer still personally works a small caseload of case management files and expert cases in workers’ compensation, liability, domestic, and disability cases. A believer in lifelong, ongoing education and skills acquisition, Ms. Repman-Pifer is a certified Progressive Goal Attainment Program (PGAP) provider, having attended a workshop led by program developer Dr. Michael Sullivan; PGAP is included in the Official Disability Guidelines as an accepted treatment for workers’ compensation and disability claims.

Finally, Ms. Repman Pifer is a certified life care planner (a designation signifying rigorous preparation and thorough qualifications in this field), making her one of only thousands in the entire country.

Bobbi Bernadino

Bobbi Bernadino is a dynamic sales executive with 21 years of experience providing a high level of customer service while increasing revenues. She is successful at leveraging sales technologies, software, and CRM data to identify, analyze and act upon leads, opportunities, and sales funnels.

Ms. Bernadino is a personable communicator focused on exceeding client expectations. She is highly organized and accomplished, well-versed in monitoring market conditions and changes to promote options to customers. Ms. Bernadino is very gifted in building connections, demonstrating products, and maintaining consistent sales. She is a persuasive negotiator with forward-thinking and performance-oriented nature.

 

Team Leader of PIRS

Marina Edwards, BSN, RN-WCCM, CEN, CCM, LNCC, TNCC

Marina Edwards is not only a nurse case manager for PIRS, but she is also the team leader for the nurse case manager contingent, providing case management and medical expertise on the medical case management files, and assisting with the latest evidence-based medicine and knowledge.

Ms. Edwards has been with PIRS since July 2012. She is an RN Workers’ Compensation Case Manager for the state of Maryland and maintains her Certified Emergency Nurse and Trauma Nurse certifications. Ms. Edwards still maintains her clinical skills on a regular basis. She provides both field and telephonic case management in five states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York.

As of Fall 2019, Ms. Edwards completed her accreditation through the Commission for Case Manager Certification and is now a Certified Case Manager.

Ms. Edwards’ strong communication skills are at the cornerstone of the care she provides. “I enjoy working collaboratively with insurance companies, injured workers, and attorneys to achieve the best patient outcomes through expeditious facilitation of evidence-based care,” she says.
